Today = free day well spent! Me, Dan, Tyler, Kyle, and Jon went to a place in Shanghai similar to Silk Alley. It was okay but super intimidating with all the sellers ready to attack. Then we went to the Pearl Tower, a landmark that Shanghai is famous for. It looks like a space adventure, with a long needle shape that has these flat, glittery pink balls on it that function as the overlook areas for people who pay to go inside and see from those viewpoints.

We paid and got to overlook basically the whole city, which was really nice and beautiful.

The tower also has a restaurant that's got a revolving floor. Plus, the whole restaurant is bathed in this rosy glow from the pink-tinted glass.

At night, our attempt to go to the Cloud 9 bar (the highest bar in Shanghai) was spoiled, but we were able to make it to Windows Too, a dance club that was really fun. Also, so many of us were there, that we took over the dance floor (again). I also had my first snowball, which is this drink that tastes like pina colada and sprite, but in a whipped form. It's hard to explain, but it's absolutely delicious. Fii introduced it to our group and now everyone loves it (although the guys are less likely to admit that, I think).
